Latest News on JAMB Cut-off Mark

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the cut-off marks for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria for the 2023/2024 academic session.

The minimum cut-off mark for universities is 140, for polytechnics is 100, and for colleges of education is 100.

However, individual institutions may set their own cut-off marks, but they must not be lower than the minimum marks set by JAMB.

The cut-off marks were announced at the last policy meeting on admissions, which was held in Abuja on June 23, 2023.

The meeting was attended by stakeholders in the education sector, including representatives from universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

The decision to set the cut-off marks was based on a number of factors, including the performance of candidates in the 2023 JAMB examination.

The cut-off marks are expected to be used by institutions to select candidates for admission into their various programmes.
